Why underground brine is more valuable than salt
Natural underground brine is full of many minerals and trace elements but above all its full of natural acids. Many of these minerals and acids are available as free ions meaning they are not combined in a molecule or compound which will have different properties than the ions. These free ions are full of many amazing benefits. Usually underground brine has around 15% of salt and minerals and its PH (acidity) is around 3. Vinegar has a PH of around 2.2.
The underground brine takes millions of years to form. When the brine is sun dried many of these natural acids evaporate and apart the yummy salt flakes other natural compounds form such as gypsum form which add to the texture and taste of the pyramid salt crystals. Many do not understand that when this dried salt is added to water the new brine will be different and not as effective as the natural brine that took millions of years to form.
That is why we encourage the usage of our brine that comes from our underground springs.
